Chrissie Alexander

Chrissie qualified with her Level II 500hrs Yoga teacher training from Byron Yoga Centre in 2009 and also gained her Diploma in Remedial/Swedish massage at Nature Care and Ayurvedic studies in India.

Chrissie is currently completing the Bachelor of Health Science, Naturopathy at Nature Care College.

Chrissie has always had a passion for health, whether it be healthy food & nutrition, natural alternatives or sport and yoga.

She has progressively increased her passion for yoga, seeing how it positively affected her overall wellbeing, clarity of mind and health, helping to relax the entire body and mind.

Chrissie is a member of The Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Yoga

Yoga is a traditional art that has been practiced for thousands of years to relieve stress, expel negative energy, detoxify & nourish organs, build inner core strength, improve the function of the nervous system and enhance wisdom, fitness and flexibility.

Chrissie has had experience in practicing Zen Qi Yoga, Ashtanga, Hatha and Iyengar Yoga as well as Jivamukti and Quantum Yoga incorporating her love of India, chanting and meditation as well as Ayurveda. She has also been very influenced by Clive Sheridan, Lara Baumann, Yogacharya Venkatesh, Simon Borg-Olivier and Mark Whitwell.

Chrissie really enjoys bringing together the blend of benefits contained within each of the styles.

• Classes are available on a casual basis at $20 per class.

• Private one-on-one classes are also available upon request.

Massage

Do you have tight and sore muscles? Feeling general fatigue in mind and body? Do you feel stressed and need to relax?

Massage provides a relaxing and healing treatment, improving circulation and range of movement, eases and tones muscles and allows the mind and body to rejuvenate.

Chrissie’s knowledge of the body and anatomy & physiology is evident with her love of massage, helping people with postural imbalances and muscular pain as well as to promote general relaxation and stress relief.
