Priscila studied Beauty Therapy in Ecuador - South America and found a keen interest in the human body and how it worked. She felt compassion for people living in pain and wanted to help. People suffer pain for many reasons such as from an accident, over training, working or emotional stress. To achieve her goal, Priscila completed a Certificate IV in Remedial Massage at TAFE and is currently completing a Diploma in Remedial Massage at the Australasian Knowledge of Natural Therapies and Reiki.

Priscila has also broadened her knowledge and techniques by working and discussing issues with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and other Remedial Therapists.

REMEDIAL / DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE Provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow releasing stiffness tension and lengthening the muscles. Regular massages are recommended for physical, emotional and general wellbeing.

SWEDISH MASSAGE A gentle combination of massage techniques like friction - circular pressure, petrissage - kneading movements and effleurage - gliding strokes. Increases blood flow to release toxins from the body, soothing of the nervous system and decreasing skin sensitivity. Great for sleeping disorders.

HOT STONE MASSAGE A warm massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones to massage the whole body. The heat can be both relaxing and gentle or deep to help warm up muscles and release their tightness. Hot stone massage may also assist with weight loss and cellulite reduction; the technique is customised to each client’s needs.

ANTI CELLULITE REDUCTIVE MASSAGE Using deep tissue movements, strokes, kneading and effleurage will assist with blood circulation and cellulite reduction if done in combination with a healthy diet, exercise and plenty of water to flush toxins away.

WEIGHT LOSS REDUCTIVE MASSAGE A massage with small deep and short movements to prevent constipation. It provides a healthy digestive system, general wellbeing and a sense of lightness.

CUPPING THERAPY An alternative therapy in which a local suction is created on the skin by using a cup. This helps tight muscles and improves blood flow in order to promote healing.

SCRAPPING THERAPY The therapist starts by 'scraping' the area with a 'scraper' (a specially designed instrument of jade or horn). Soon after areas of the skin show red spots, indicating the locations of troubled muscles. Toxins and waste are released through the red spotted area. Scraping is performed on lubricated skin (essential oils), therefore skin and tissues do not suffer any damage from the scraper. Discomfort may be experienced from troubled muscles and tissues while scraping

Although redness and cup marks are left on the skin after scrapping and cupping, these marks are different from those of bruising and haemorrhage and fully disappear within 3 to 7 days. These therapies encourage metabolism, an increase in blood flow and circulation to the muscles, tissues and organs directly beneath the surface treated. They also stimulate the related meridians to regulate the dysfunctions of the corresponding organs. Patients experience immediate changes in stiffness, pain and mobility.
